Alison Spokes - Tarot Cards & Fantastical Artist

Alison, a self-taught digital artist from Victoria, British Columbia, paints enchanting faerie and fantasy illustrations using an electronic drawing tablet and digital painting application. Her fascination with faeries, rooted in a love for myth and storytelling, inspires her to incorporate folklore into her work, aiming to reveal magic in the mundane.

 

Since her first digital fairy painting in 2010, Alison has showcased her art at numerous events across Vancouver Island and Western Canada, earning recognition as a finalist in the 2013 International Fairy and Fantasy Art Awards and contributing to the 2020 and 2022 Tarot decks by the 78 Tarot Project.

 

Besides her art, Alison has been a Tarot practitioner for nearly 30 years, offering insightful, storytelling-rich readings. Her readings draw from mythology, fairy tales, and popular culture to help individuals discover their superpowers and become heroes of their own stories.
