Donna Martin, Founder, Reiki Master/Teacher

I’ve been a dedicated practitioner of holistic medicine since 2005. I love empowering patients to understand their bodies and discover the gentle power of the healing arts. As a well-renowned Alternative Healer, I enjoy being able to bridge the gap between holistic and western medicine while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal. I decided to create the Light & Energy Symposium to bring together those passionate about the Healing Arts in a space of learning and fun.
Dianna Maycock, Web Designer/Promotion Manager

Born and raised in Victoria BC, Dianna became very interested in Metaphysics while going through hypnotherapy in her early 20's. Through hypnotherapy Dianna began to remember the past lives she has lived through and, enchanted, she delved deeply into holistic and alternative therapies including Reiki, Shamanism, Feng Shui and Sound Therapy. Dianna then discovered her innate ability to go into deep, trancelike meditations that allowed her to receive visions and communicate to Angels, the Devic realm and Beings of Light from the Pleiades.
When her youngest son was born with severe asthma and ADHD, Dianna quit her job as a secretary to stay home to care for him. During this time at home Dianna began studying web and graphic design and Media Promotion. Combining her love for alternative therapies, including whole foods nutrition for her young son, and her passion for web design, Dianna has dedicated her time to helping alternative health small business owners make their presense known on the World Wide Web.

Dianna moved from Victoria 9 years ago to fulfill her dream of a quieter, simpler life and she and husband bought 10 acres on a mountain on Lasqueti Island, which is completely living off the grid.

Julie is certified in Usui Reiki Method. She received her level 1 Practitioner and attunement in 2008. In that same year, desiring to keep moving on this journey of Reiki and the opportunities it has given her in opening her heart, she received her level 2 Practitioner certification and attunement. Finally, in 2010, she wanted to increase her knowledge even further about the innate wisdom of Reiki, so she received her level 3 Practitioner certification and attunement to become a Reiki Master Practitioner. Her next part of this journey will be to receive attunement to teach reiki…To be continued.
Her intention that she comes with to every session is one of helping you feel safe, comforted, and to transmit an open heartedness so that your mind, body, and spirit will move through the session with warmth and ease.

Linda is the principal and lead planner at West Coast Wishes which is based out of Vancouver, British Columbia but also covers sea to sky country, Vancouver Island (Victoria, Tofino and Long Beach) as well as destinations anywhere in the world. Linda specializes in planning customized weddings, special events and corporate functions and has had the opportunity to plan more than 1250 weddings.
Her presence on the The Light and Energy Team has been invaluable in helping us to plan and organize our event. We could not have done it without her professionalism and expertise.
