Donna Martin, Founder, Reiki Master/Teacher

Donna is a a full-time Reiki Practitioner based in the Victoria BC area. She offers a holistic approach to medicine and passionately believes in the power of the body to heal through an alternative and naturistic path.
Donna has been a dedicated practitioner of holistic medicine for over 20 years and loves empowering patients to understand their bodies and discover the gentle power of the healing arts. Her passion is to bridge the gap between holistic and western medicine while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal.
​Donna decided to create Light & Energy Wellness Events to bring together those passionate about the Healing Arts in a space of learning and fun.
​Donna offers Reiki Treatments, Crystal Chakra Clearing and Sacred Drumming. She is also a Reiki Master/Teacher and offers Reiki Attunements and courses. Please visit our Services page to view a list of what is offered.
Dianna Maycock, Web Designer/Promotion Manager
Born and raised in Victoria BC, Dianna became very interested in Metaphysics while going through hypnotherapy in her early 20's. Through hypnotherapy Dianna began to remember the past lives she has lived through and, enchanted, she delved deeply into holistic and alternative therapies including Reiki, Power Animal Guidance, Shamanism, and Sound Therapy. Dianna then discovered her innate ability to go into deep, trancelike meditations that allowed her to receive visions and communicate to Angels, the Fairy realm and Beings of Light from the Pleiades.​
When her youngest son was born with severe asthma and ADHD, Dianna quit her job as a secretary to stay home to care for him. During this time at home Dianna began studying web and graphic design plus Multimedia Promotion. Combining her love for alternative therapies, including whole foods nutrition for her young son, and her passion for web design, Dianna has dedicated her time to helping alternative health small business owners make their presense known on the World Wide Web. Dianna moved from Victoria 9 years ago to fulfill her dream of a quieter, simpler life and she and husband bought 10 acres on a mountain on Lasqueti Island, which is completely off the grid.

Last year I attended the Light and Energy Event in Langford, after months of serious soul searching and seeking my own healing. I had been researching to find a more natural way to get healthy and reconnect with my intuition. On Facebook, their poster came across my path and it was synchronicity. So after the summer event and finding out that they were holding another event in the fall, I had to volunteer. Spirit was guiding me, this is what I needed to bring me back to my authentic self.
I met Donna and Dianna, and they took a chance on me to help keep the event workshops running on time. I met incredible healers and learned how they got started and then researched each modality. Truly gifted individuals, I just felt like a veil had lifted and I was coming home, into myself. You have all helped me to begin my healing and guiding me to seek my higher self and purpose.
I love helping the Light & Energy Team reach more people with their incredible gifts and light. I want my talents as an administrative assistant and hospitality background, with a LOVE for filing and learning to be of service where I can.
I look forward to meeting many more outstanding travelers, seekers, light energy workers, and human beings who share there positive vibes and stories. We all have much to share and learn from each other.
