WHAT IS DEEP EMOTIONAL RELEASE?
It is an activating of energetic points throughout the body. This is not a modality that happens ‘to us’ but rather one in which we actively engage in. In a session the practitioner holds the space for you and helps guide you there, and then it is up to you to let your body do what it naturally does.
The wonderful thing about this work is that the body begins to take over and will organically know what to do to release. At some point, your mind shuts off and you are in the land of the subconscious. It will also never show you anything that you are not ready to handle. Trusting the body's wisdom is key.
There is no "right" or "wrong" way.
​Every session is different. This therapy can be extremely energetic, physically clearing, emotionally expressive and everything else in between. Some of these releases can include; shaking, crying, laughing, screaming, extreme feelings of loving, groaning, vocal toning, rage, getting frustrated, sobbing, nervous system tremors, tears of joy, sweating or no emotion whatsoever. The bigger the emotional expression does not mean the bigger the release.
Integration is our priority and that can look gentle, and subtle. Going into the session with no expectations is key. It will be whatever it needs to.
What if nothing happens?
​There is honestly no wrong way to do this. What makes the biggest difference is staying with the breath and being present. Anything that happens after that is exactly what needs to happen. Even if your body is showing you the ways in which you feel nothing or shut down. Everything that shows up is valid.

Why should I try it?
​There are many tools that exist out there can be helpful, I believe this type of work can be an accelerated path. It is not for everyone, and you need to trust yourself in what works and doesn’t work for you.
Trapped emotions get in our way. They sabotage our efforts to create the life we want and make us miserable along the way.
Freeing stuck emotional energy that is in our bodies can shift our lives in a positive way. It’s healing and liberating.
